RHOMBUS Rides with Pride

June 20, 2011

Break out your bicycle, tricycle, unicycle, tandem bike and/or anything else with wheels and hit the trails of Point Pleasant Park for a ride with RHOMBUS!

On Tuesday, July 19th, RHOMBUS rides with pride as part of Halifax Pride Week.

We meet in the Tower Road Parking lot at 7 – look for the rainbow flag and a group of mix-matched wannabe cyclists. After a brisk bell-ringing, sometimes musical, always laughter-inducing ride through the park, we will head to South Park Street for coffee and conversation.
That’s where one lucky participant will win a prize package donated by Uncommon Grounds!

You can RSVP on Facebook, too!

About this ride:

  • Difficulty: Moderate to difficult
  • Terrain: mostly gravel trails, some street riding, several inclines
  • Estimated ride time: 45 minutes
  • Meeting point: Tower Road Parking Lot at 7 p.m.
  • Post-ride: Uncommon Grounds (1030 South Park St.)
  • Tip: Do NOT park your car in Lower Parking Lot, Section B – this closes at 8 p.m. and your car will be locked in overnight.
  • Rain date: July 26th
